The Las Vegas Raiders traded quarterback Geno Smith to the New York Jets. The Raiders will send Smith and a seventh-round pick in the 2026 draft in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the same draft.
This would move Las Vegas from 228th to 208th in the draft. The Raiders will take on the majority of the quarterback`s salary, while the Jets will pay him just above the veteran`s minimum salary.

Smith returns to the club that drafted him in the second round of the 2013 draft. The quarterback spent four seasons with the Jets. During that time, he played in 46 games (29 as a starter), amassing 6, 276 passing yards, 28 touchdowns and 36 interceptions.
