Horner joked that he would lure the F1 leader to Red Bull. Red Bull boss Christian Horner answered a question about what the team`s plan B is in the event of Max Verstappen leaving at the end of 2025.
Oscar Piastri, ” the manager said with a laugh at the British Grand Prix, sitting next to McLaren chief executive Zak Brown.
The Formula 1 leader has a multi-year contract with McLaren.
Horner added that Verstappen also has a long agreement with Red Bull:
I think [McLaren] is focused on his drivers and relationships. Max has a contract until 2028. He stated quite clearly that he would like to end his career with Red Bull, from start to finish. We simply ignore the noise and focus on the areas where we need to improve.
