The ex-NBA player called Jokic the most technical player in history. Former NBA player and ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins responded to Denver center Nikola Jokic`s impressive start to the season.
Look, I grew up a Houston fan. Clutch City, Hakeem Olajuwon - I watched them all my childhood. But Jokic makes Hakeem Olajuwon`s great games look like ordinary ones. The numbers he puts up. . . He`s the most technical player to ever play basketball.
I don`t blame [Tyrone] Lue`s tactics because Zubac is one of the best defenders in the post. He defended Jokic better than anyone in the last year and a half.
But what we saw yesterday was greatness. We saw a player come into the arena after playing back-to-back against one of the most elite defenders in the league at the center position and just destroy him.
And so when people start discussing where Jokic ranks historically, I will say one thing: he is the best center I have seen in the last 20 years. “I’m absolutely sure of that, ” Perkins said on ESPN.
